BILLY “BILL” DANIEL EATON

Mr. Billy “Bill” Daniel Eaton, a resident of Aurora, CO, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014, at the Andalusia Regional Hospital at the age of 77. Bill was preceded in death by his loving foster parents, Mae and Mike Maddox. He is survived by his sisters, Harriet Smith and Mikelyn Clausen; and his beloved nephews and nieces, Michael Smith, Renee “Missie” Smith, Joe Perry, Lee Perry, and Jan Saunders. Bill was born in Phenix City, , and moved to Andalusia in 1953 to play football at Andalusia High School. He lived with the Maddox’s until his graduation from Andalusia High School in 1957. He attended Troy University and Auburn University. Bill served in the US Army, retired from the US Navy, and worked for and retired from United Airlines. A memorial service for Bill will be held at 2:00 PM on May 25, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church of Andalusia.
