Action gets underway for Pleasant Home’s annual softball tournament today at Lady Eagles Field.

There are nine teams playing in the tournament with the first two days filled with pool play action.

Today’s play will be held at Lady Eagles Field with Andalusia and Pleasant Home starting at 3 p.m. The next game will be AHS against Florala at 4:30 p.m.; followed by FHS versus New Brockton at 6 p.m.; and NBHS against PHS in the night cap at 7:30.

Friday’s pool play will be held at the Dwight Mikel Sports Complex next to the Kiwanis Building in Andalusia.

Brantley plays Goshen on Field No. 1, and Flomaton plays Elba on Field No. 3 at 4:30 p.m.; Goshen plays Opp on Field No. 1, and Brantley plays Flomaton on Field No. 3 at 6 p.m.; and Opp plays Elba on Field No. 1 for the final pool play game of the night at 7:30.

Single elimination play begins Saturday morning at PHS.
