It’s not an old-fashioned cattle drive – the cows are the work of artist Wes Hardin, who has begun his latest mural in downtown Andalusia.

He was on location over the weekend and on Monday at the Powell Furniture Building, where he is working on a mural depicting piney woods cattle.

Hardin, who is working just across from the WAAO building where he completed his first mural for the city, said he expects to be done around mid April.

This latest mural is funded in part with a grant from the Alabama Allied Arts Council.
