2 charged for moonshine in Opp

A search warrant served Tuesday at a home in Opp turned up multiple illegal substances, including moonshine.
Gregory Lewis Davis, 38, and Kenneth Michael Davis, 39, were arrested at home at 22725 Woodall Mill Rd. following the search by Drug Task Force agents, Covington County sheriff’s deputies and ABC agents. Also found in the home were methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, according to information from the 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force.
Both men were charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of moonshine and booked into the Covington County Jail, each on a $116,000 bond.
