Saints top FSCC, 101-86

Four LBWCC Saints posted double figures Monday night in their 101-86 conference victory over Faulkner State Community College in Bay Minette.
Guard Troyce Manassa led the way with 33 points. Bench player Malcolm Snyder chipped in 24 points; Victor Benson and Janard Estell scored 12 points each.
The Saints led 51-42 at halftime and narrowly outscored the Sun Chiefs 50-44 in the second half, as they improved to 10-10 overall, and 6-2 in the ACCC South. LBWCC’s away record improved to 2-8.
From the field, the Saints went 41-for-66 (62.1 percent) and scratched out a 66.7 percent free throw game.
On the boards, Manassa had nine rebounds; Estell had six assists; and Benson had four steals.
Six FSCC players finished in double figures to lead the Sun Chiefs.
Deshun Tucker and Rafael Adams scored 15 each off the bench; AJ Roulhac and Xavier Dortch put in 14 each; Reagan Eubanks had 13; and Chris Joyner had 10.
In women’s action, FSCC won 70-58.
The Lady Saints were trailing 36-27 at halftime.
Tori Lowe led LBWCC with 19 points off the bench; Robneicha Rush and Brittany Moore scored 11 points each; and Kamiaya Nalls chipped in nine.
Tierra Henry led FSCC with 16 points; and Rachel Bell chipped in 13.
LBWCC will back in action tomorrow night at home against Chattahoochee Valley. The women tip off at 5:30 p.m. with the men playing in the night cap.
