Crittenden leads AHS over MCHS

Andalusia went 1-2 against Monroe County on Tuesday night.
The Lady Bulldogs were the only team who came away with a win over the Lady Tigers in a 51-37 effort.
“We shot the ball a lot better tonight,” AHS coach Brad Garner said.
In fact, the Lady Bulldogs went 22-for-40 from the field.
“It was a huge improvement, cutting down on a lot of turnovers,” Garner said.
Laticia Crittenden led all AHS scorers with 18 points. Alexis Lawrence had 11 points with 6 rebounds. Grace Burns had 7 rebounds.
In varsity boys action, the Bulldogs lost 62-52.
Cameron Woods led AHS with 19 points, and Kendarius Townsend chipped in 11.
Andalusia fell 35-25 in B-team action.
The Bulldogs will be back in action tonight as they travel to play Wilcox Central in a make-up area game.
