Stories surfaced that former USC head coach Lane Kiffin interviewed Thursday to be the offensive coordinator at Alabama.
An original story breaking the new was published on ESPN’s website.
Former UA offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier left the team yesterday to be the OC at Michigan.
Before Alabama played in the Sugar Bowl, Kiffin met with Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban for “professional development,” according to reports.
USC fired Kiffin in late September, and recorded a 28-15 record with the Trojans. For one year prior to coaching USC, Kiffin coached at Tennessee, where he was a mediocre 7-6.
