Pleasant Home juniors Tanner Veasey and Jon Cole Chesser finished in double figures in the Eagles’ 53-50 home loss to Kinston on Tuesday night.

Veasey led the team with 16 points and added nine rebounds, while Chesser scored 14 points.

The Lady Eagles won big over the Lady Bulldogs, but a score wasn’t reported by the time the Star-News went to press last night.

Pleasant Home visits Geneva County to continue in Class 1A, Area 2 play on Friday night.
