Bulldogs fall in high-score game Tuesday

Andalusia and Georgiana scored a combined 164 points Tuesday night, but the Panthers prevailed, winning 84-80 in regular season action.
The Bulldogs were led by Phillip James with 24 points. Jayden Ellison scored 16 points. Montel Lee and Trevor Parker chipped in 14 points each.
Andalusia’s girls won 57-34 over the Lady Panthers.
Alexis Lawrence scored 16 points to lead AHS. Laticia Crittenden had 13 points. Merikal McCaskill drained eight points.
Grace Burns had nine rebounds; D’Asia Johnson and Crittenden got four assists each.
Andalusia’s B-team won 28-27 in a close one.
AHS hosts Dothan tomorrow night. B-team action starts at 4:30 p.m.
Straughn had an easy go of Pleasant Home as the Tigers won 55-33 in varsity boys action.
The Tigers were led by Brice Scott, who had 21 points. JD Driver chipped in eight points. Rollin Kinsaul had seven.
Pleasant Home’s Garrett Barton had nine points. Troy Fantroy and Jon Cole Chesser scored seven each.
In B-team action, the Tigers won 28-14.
Jonathan Driver led SHS with 15 points.
Straughn’s Jacie Williamson scored 19 points in the Lady Tigers’ 51-20 rout over the Lady Eagles.
SHS led 32-3 at halftime.
Emily Wood chipped in 11 points.
