2 locals arrested for theft

Two Covington County men were arrested this week on burglary and theft of property charges.
Ray Hartzog, 46 of Andalusia, and William Davis, 43 of Opp, were taken into custody Thursday on charges stemming from thefts from a storage facility.
Approximately 32 stolen fuel pumps and signs were taken from the facility on Saunders Road, according to media reports.
Hartzog was charged with theft of property in the first degree, and was held on a $30,000 bond. Davis was charged with burglary in the third degree and theft of property in the first degree, and was held on a $40,000 bond.
According to reports, the investigation is ongoing, and more arrests are expected.
