Geneva County took advantage of some early Red Level turnovers and went on to beat the Tigers 47-14 on Friday night.
RLS moved the ball well during the game, Tigers head football coach David Godwin said.
“The score didn’t really indicate how good of a game it was,” Godwin said. “They’ve got some really good athletes. They had a good game plan against us. We had a pretty good one against them.”
RLS freshman John Lee scored his team’s only touchdowns of the night from 60 and 45 yards early in the fourth quarter.
The Tigers, who are riding a 24-game losing streak, host Brantley next week.
