Kinston outscored Pleasant Home 41-0 in the second half en route to a 41-12 region victory over the Eagles on Friday night.
PHS led 12-0 at halftime, and Eagles head football coach Cody McCain said the team fell apart and committed a lot of penalties like it did last week.
“We’ve got to get a lot better in a hurry,” McCain said.
Pleasant Home got on board in the first half on a fumble recovery return for a touchdown.
The Eagles’ second TD pas came from Garrett Barton to Jon Cole Chesser for 20 yards.
Pleasant Home (1-2, 1-1 in Class 1A, Region 2) visits Florala next week.
