Seven months ago, Tex Powell and his family began a battle against weight gain and one look at the group today is evidence they are winning the fight. Now, they want to share with others how they shed the weight and kept it off.

“It’s called Metaboiq and the company is Qivana,” Tex and Becky Powell’s daughter, Susan Theus, said. “Originally, some friends contacted mom and dad about it.”

Now, Tex, Becky, Susan, her husband, Robbie, as well as another Powell daughter, Angie, and Dr. Troy Jones have all joined the program and each say it was one of the best decisions they have ever made.

“Anyone can use the system,” Becky said. “It’s really simple and it’s not just for losing weight. It also helps you maintain a healthy weight. It helps with muscle mass and just being healthy overall.”

Robbie, who began the system in February, may have the biggest success story of anyone in the Powell clan. After just three months on the system, Robbie said he had lost 35 pounds.

“It just helps with anything that ails you,” Robbie said. “It’s really easy. You drink a shake in the morning and off you go.”

Robbie said the weight he has lost using the Metaboliq system has given him more energy and allowed him to pick up other healthy activities.

“I run three days a week,” he said. “I did like to run before, but my knees would hurt. Losing the weight helped, but I believe the product even helped some with my knees.”

Becky said everyone in her family that has begun using the system has lost “a few pounds,” but added the other health benefits are vast.

“The shakes are divided into servings,” she said. “You mix it with water or milk. It’s a complete meal with everything you need.”

Becky said another great aspect of the program is that continuing it after weight loss helps maintain the results.
