Fuqua, Pate set June date for ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. James Fuqua of Andalusia are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Heather Michelle, to Jason Micheal Pate, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pate of Moody.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Jo Bryant and the late George Bryant and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Fuqua, all of Andalusia.
Miss Fuqua is a 2008 graduate of Andalusia High School. She is a 2012 graduate of the University of Alabama, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She is currently employed with the City of Tuscaloosa Police Department.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dickie of Moody and Mrs. Tommie Nell Pate and the late Giles Pate of Irondale.
He is a 2008 graduate of Moody High School and is currently enrolled in the University of Alabama-Birmingham, studying mechanical engineering. He is currently employed with Sain Engineering Associates of Birmingham.
The couple will unite in marriage at 5 p.m. on Sat., June 22, at The Oaks in Centreville, with a reception immediately following.
