Ray and Alma Bramblett of Opp are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Katie Leigh

Bramblett of Opp, to Kristian Michael Cooke of Poynton, Cheshire, England, son of Brian Cooke of Poynton, Cheshire, England and Christine Jackson of Florala.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the Ray Sr. and Elsie Bramblett of Chattanooga, Tenn., and the late Cecil and Ruby Brown of

Ooltewah, Tenn.

She is a graduate of Opp High School and is employed with Shaw Industries.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Jack and Sally Cooke of Woodley, Stockport, Cheshire, England, and Lothar and Mary Flemming of Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire, England.

He graduated Poynton High School and is employed with Shaw Industries.

The wedding is scheduled for 3 p.m., on May 18, 2013, at Springdale Estates in Andalusia.
