The Opp City Council has changed the hours of operation at Memorial Park due to the lights being left on all night.

District 5 Councilman Arlin Davis said that there had been many instances where lights were left on in the bathrooms.

The council decided to let the police department and lock and unlock the bathrooms.

The park will open at 7 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.

The park is located at the corner of College and Park street.

It is free to the public.
