Two Pleasant Home eighth graders propelled the Eagles to a 10-9 win over Georgiana on Tuesday.

Sean Mitchell hit the game-tying run, and Aaron Warthen hit the game winner for PHS.

“It wasn’t pretty, but we did win,” PHS coach Lamar Gibson said.

Garrett Bardon pitched a solid two innings for the Eagles, Gibson said.

With this victory, the Eagles improve to 2-7 overall.
