Straughn shot a 328 to win its first golf match of the season Monday at Andalusia Country Club.

The Tigers were playing against host Andalusia, Opp, Charles Henderson and one representative from Carroll-Ozark on the chilly and windy day of action.

SHS sophomore stand out Brooks Rabren was the medalist for the Tigers with a 2-over 74.

Andalusia’s Hunter Dendy was the Bulldogs’ medalist with a 77.

The Bulldogs came in second with a 368, while Opp finished with a 411.

Charles Henderson shot a 421 for the round.
