When the Andalusia Junior Woman’s Club was considering emcees for their Sweet Home Alabama-themed Red Garter Review, the answer was in their very own meeting. Hannah Merrell’s sweet Southern drawl won the part for her and her husband, district attorney Walt Merrell.

Chairing this year’s event, set for next weekend, March 8 and 9, are Lynsey Dubose and Lindsey Reeves.

Performers include:

• The Red Garter Girls – Lesley Thorn, Meg Shelnutt, Mary Michael Boseman, Catherine Hammett, Kim Rasberry, Lauren Trammell, Katie King, Angie Miller and Ali Hobson;

• Paul Sue Duebelt and Sue Wilson;

•Sisters by Grace;

• Jeff Sellers;

• The Ritz Crackers – Billy Bimbo, Troy Jones, Parrish King, Clay Elmore, Jeffery Douglas, Kyle Dalton and mark Chambers;

• Johnny Brewer­­­

• Lynsey DuBose and Katie King

There also will be comedy mixed into the show form the Gossip Gals and the Hee Haw gang.

Tickets are available from members of the Andalusia Junior Woman’s Club, Ansley Place, Harold’s, Salon Utopia, and the Chamber of Commerce.

Reserved seats are $15; general admission is $12.
