Sex offender fails to register

The Lockhart man who pleaded guilty to child porn charges levied by the ABI in January was arrested Tuesday for failing to register as a convicted sex offender.
Michael Holley, 53, pleaded to one count of possession of obscene matter after age-nts with ABI’s Internet Cri-mes Aga-inst Children received a cyber tip and obtained a search warrant for Holley’s Cherokee Avenue home in Lockhart.
While Holley hasn’t been sentenced in the case, he is still required to register as a convicted sex offender with local authorities. He was released Tuesday afternoon on a $10,000 bond.
Sentencing in the plea case is set for today.
