Four Opp Lady Bobcats finished with a double-double each in their 63-31 victory over Pleasant Home on Friday night.
The Lady Eagles fought with OHS from the start, but the Lady Bobcats’ size in the paint was too much.
“It was a great job by my girls,” OHS coach SaRhonda Dickerson said.
Nisha Stoudemire led OHS with 17 points. Laiken Free had 16 points, and Asia Edwards and Saquoia Lane punched in 12 points each.
Opp (6-0) led 23-10 after the first period, and outscored PHS 16-6 in the second period to lead 39-16 at halftime.
The Lady Bobcats took a 57-25 lead late in the third period and led 59-26 going into the fourth.
A bright spot for PHS came in Brianna Dozier, who put up solid baskets and got steals with layups late.
Abigail Kelley led PHS with 10 points. Ashley Williamson had seven points, and Raven Woods paced the Lady Eagles with six.
