A Mobile man was arrested Friday in River Falls with more than $1,000 in powder and crack cocaine allegedly in his possession.

River Falls Police Chief Greg Jackson said Derrick Charles Gantt, 35, was stopped on U.S. Hwy. 84 for speeding.

The drugs were found inside Gantt’s Crown Victoria by Andalusia Police Department K-9 Klod and Officer Matt Wilson, Jackson said.

Gantt was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on a $13,000 bond.
