A Jefferson County woman is charged with domestic violence and assault after authorities say she bit her estranged husband’s private parts and stabbed him with scissors.
Charges were filed this week, after the Saturday incident, authorities said today. Tiffany Ronita McGregory, 28, of Wylam, has already been released from jail after posting $45,000 bond.
Jefferson County sheriff’s Chief Deputy Randy Christian gave this account: Deputies were called to a home about 10 a.m. in the 500 block of Utica Place in McDonald’s Chapel on a report of burglary and domestic violence.
The 29-year-old victim, whose name wasn’t released, told deputies he and his wife are separated pending a divorce. He has moved back into his mother’s home until the divorce is final.
“If I were him, I would step very lightly and politely around her,” Christian said. “That ‘hell hath no fury’ saying rings pretty true.”
