Andalusia native and Alabama senior linebacker Nico Johnson made Phil Steele’s first-team preseason All-SEC team, which was released on Wednesday.

Johnson is one of six Crimson Tide players that were selected to the team.

He is joined by fellow linebacker C.J. Mosley, who form two of the three linebackers on the team.

The Auburn players on the first team were Philip Lutzenkirchen, Corey Lemonier and Tre Mason.

Auburn’s Emory Blake and Steven Clark were second-team selections, as well as Alabama’s Dee Milliner and Robert Lester.
