A Dozier woman and her child narrowly escaped serious injury Friday following a two-vehicle accident on Antioch Road.

An Alabama State Trooper spokesman said the accident occurred at 7:32 a.m. between a 2000 Nissan, driven by Ashley N. Quinley, and a 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by William P. Kelley of Opp.

Quinley suffered minor injuries, and her passenger, a child, was uninjured.

Kelley was not injured during the accident.

The accident remains under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
