Greenville police arrest 4 men in kidnapping, robbery

The Greenville Police Department has arrested four men involved with the kidnapping and robbery of a Greenville man.

Authorities have charged Lorenzo Johnson Jr., 20; Terence Marsh, 21; Leron Palmer, 19; and Shiveal Soles, 20; with kidnapping, first degree, and robbery, first degree, after they robbed and abducted a 21-year-old man on Nov. 20. All four are being held in the Butler County Correction Facility on a $60,000 bond.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries during the incident and was transported to L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital where he received treatment.

According to Lt. Justin Lovvorn, the victim was able to provide officers with a description of his kidnappers.

“From the description we were able to develop four suspects, and the victim was able to identify them,” Lovvorn said.
