Florala lost to Kinston in both varsity and junior varsity volleyball action Tuesday.

FHS coach Joea McNeil said the varsity team didn’t do that well.

“They just didn’t play,” McNeil said. “They went in, and didn’t play ball. They know how to play and practice well.”

However, the junior varsity team did play well despite the loss, McNeil said.

“They competed,” she said. “Even though we didn’t win the match, I think we’ve got a lot of potential and promise.”

Stats from the matches were not available when the Star-News talked to McNeil.

The Lady Wildcats will travel to play Samson tonight.
