Tractor Supply Company will hold a pet appreciation day, aptly called “PAWS,” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, Aug. 6, at the Andalusia store.

Additionally, Dr. Bob Bush, a local veterinarian, will be available to give rabies vaccinations for $10.

Microchipping and dog grooming will also be available for those who bring their leashed pets to the event.

For the kids, there will be coloring and face painting, she said. Hot dogs and cotton candy will be available from Forever Reins.

Covington County’s 4-H will also sponsor a community dog show from 11 a.m. until noon.

The Andalusia Area Human Society’s yard sale will begin at 7 a.m.
