Johnson lends autograph for fundraiser

Nico Johnson’s heart keeps growing and growing.
The Alabama Crimson Tide junior linebacker and Andalusia native spent the day Saturday at the Enterprise Wal-Mart, signing autographs to help raise money for Children’s Hospital and gather supplies for the tornado victims, according to the Enterprise Ledger’s website.
“When my mom became a diabetic, I saw her struggle,” Johnson said in the online article. “I knew how I felt to deal with it. I just want to help out the best I can, no matter the age.”
Fans purchased everything football for Johnson to autograph at Wal-Mart.
All proceed from the sale will go the hospital.
According to the story, the signing was set up before the April 27 tornadoes swept through the northern part of the state.
