The occasion was solemn Thursday as citizens gathered on the Court Square in honor of National Day of Prayer. Designated as the first Thursday in May, Andalusia’s event featured patriotic music and spiritual messages from nearly 10 local pastors and ministers.  Tonya Appkins and her son, Kendrick, also say the pledge.
