Swimming fanatics, dust off your swim suits because the 2011 Stingrays will be holding registration from Mon., April 18, until Fri., April 29, at Johnson Park from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., and on April 30 at Cooper Pool during tryouts.

The registration fee is $35 for one child; $55 for two children; and $75 for three or more children.

Tryouts with a practice to follow will be on Sat., April 30 at Cooper Pool.

Children ages 6-8 will meet from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.; children ages 9-10 will meet from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.; and swimmers ages 11-18 will meet from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Swimmers must wear one-piece suits, and are encouraged to bring sweats and a towel because the water will be cool.

Swim team practice will begin Mon., May 2, at Cooper Pool.

Practices will be held Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Times for age groups for the month of May are the following:

• Monday, Tuesday and Thursday — 8 and under from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.; 9-10 year olds from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.; and 11-18 year olds from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m.

• Saturday — 8 and under from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.; 9-10 year olds from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.; and 11-18 year olds from 9:30 a.m. until noon.
