Andalusia’s varsity tennis teams collected another win Tuesday over T.R. Miller in a road match in Brewton.

The varsity boys and girls beat the Tigers by the same aggregate, winning 8-1 in singles and doubles action.

Andalusia boys 8, T.R. Miller boys 1

Andalusia’s only loss came in No. 1 singles, where T.R. Miller’s Nick Dorso defeated Alex Evans 8-3.

In No. 2 singles, Andalusia’s Mayur Patel defeated T.R. Miller’s Taylor Terry 8-2; Andalusia’s Johnathan Wiggins defeated T.R. Miller’s Michael Kast 8-3 in No. 3 singles; Andalusia’s Brandon Scruggs defeated T.R. Miller’s William Jones 8-3 in No. 4 singles; Andalusia’s David May defeated T.R. Miller’s Ed Hines 8-1 in No. 5 singles; and Andalusia’s Ellis Walker defeated Milak Leach 8-5 in No. 6 singles.

In doubles, Patel and Evans defeated Dorso and Kast 8-2 in the No. 1 seed; May and Scruggs defeated Terry and Jones 8-3 in the No. 2 seed; and Walker and Wiggins defeated Leach and Hines 8-3 in the No. 3 seed.

Andalusia’s Aubrey Boyington defeated T.R. Miller’s L. Hetherington 8-1 in No. 1 singles; Andalusia’s Lauren Beasley defeated T.R. Miller’s E. Nelson 8-1 in No. 2 singles; Andalusia’s Anna Bay McCord defeated T.R. Miller’s D. Hetherington 8-3 in No. 3 singles; T.R. Miller’s L. Burkett defeated Andalusia’s Jennifer Botta 8-1 in No. 4 singles; Andalusia’s Maggie Jones defeated T.R. Miller’s A. Carlson 8-4 in No. 5 singles; and Andalusia’s Meredith Tillman defeated T.R. Miller’s E. Atthouser 8-2 in No. 6 singles.

In doubles, Boyington and McCord defeated L. Hetherington and D. Hetherington 8-0 in the No. 1 seed; Beasley and Botta defeated Nelson and Carlson 8-1 in the No. 2 seed; and Jones and Tillman defeated A. Adams and Atthouser 8-1 in the No. 3 seed.
