Andalusia’s Samantha Greene and Kenna Edmondson had two RBIs each to help lead the Lady Bulldogs to an 8-6 victory over Pleasant Home Monday night.

Greene hit her two RBIs in the sixth inning on a single, where Andalusia scored three runs.

Winning pitcher Olivia Dixon struck out four in seven innings, and allowed six runs.

Andalusia’s Kenna Edmondson started the scoring drive with an RBI single to score Ellie Pollock in the first inning.

The Lady Bulldogs added three runs in the third inning on another RBI single by Edmondson to score Emily Terry for the first run. Pollock and courtesy runner Greeley Foshee scored the last two runs of the inning.

Pleasant Home scored two runs in the third inning. Caitlin Jernigan hit an RBI single to score Kaitlin Brookshire.

In the fourth, Andalusia scored one run on an error.

Terry scored three runs; Pollock scored two runs; A.C. Riley scored one run; Abbie Young scored one run; and Edmondson scored one run.

Pleasant Home’s last four runs came in the sixth inning off of singles by Abigail Kelley and Megan Cook.

Jernigan was 3-for-4 and Robyn Weaver hit a triple.
