Twenty-six Andalusia athletes competed in the Wiregrass Weight Meet at Northview High School in Dothan Saturday, and 13 came away with top finishes.

The weight meet consisted of 10 schools competing in bench press and power cleans in different weight classifications.

Other schools with weight lifters competing were Northview, Dothan, Daleville, Rehobeth, Charles Henderson, Houston County, Houston Academy, Ashford and Headland.

Andalusia’s Eddie Parker, Roan Adams, Quadree Robertson and Carlos Luckie won the top prize in their respective weight divisions; Brandon Rogers, Keontae Hunter, Shuan Curry and Wes Maye finished in second place; and Cole Smith, Ethan Jones, Nick White, Jahkelus Matthews and Theo Taylor finished in third place at the meet.
