To the editor:

All too often we criticize, and are quick to do it, when we should really think about what we may have done to cause the problem.

Having said that, I want to share my experience at the Andalusia Regional Hospital last Thurs., Feb. 3, 2011.  I had to visit that facility so that Dr. Holland could repair a torn meniscus in my knee.

From the time I went through the front door, until the time I left, I could not have asked for any more professional, courteous, considerate treatment than I experienced.  I just can’t say enough positive things about the employees that I came in contact with during my visit – to try and name them would be a mistake because I would probably leave someone out and I wouldn’t want to do that – but Mark Dooley can look at my records and see who assisted me.

Andalusia and the surrounding area is extremely fortunate to have an upscale facility such as ARH to visit when in need of medical treatment and they need to be commended at every opportunity.
