Pleasant Home’s varsity girls basketball team beat J.U. Blacksher 38-14 on Tuesday night at home.

The Lady Eagles (2-2) led 10-6 after the first period and 24-7 at half time.

By the end of the third period, Pleasant Home led 32-13 on its way to the 24-point rout.

Erica Bullard led the Lady Eagles with 13 points, and Brentin Fuller added eight points.

The Lady Eagles will play Opp today at 1:30 p.m., and the junior varsity boys will play at 3 p.m.

In varsity boys action, the Eagles beat J.U. Blacksher 49-28. Cory Sims led the Eagles with 25 points and 11 rebounds. the B-team won 37-27.

The Eagles will play in the Straughn Christmas Shoot Out tonight at 8 p.m., where they will play the host team.
