Brantley shot 14 three-pointers against Red Level, and pulled out a 71-54 win over the Tigers on Friday night.
“We were out of position,” RLS coach Allen Catrett said. “They hit some good shots. All you can do is make some contested shots, and they knocked them in.”
The Bulldogs led 24-14 after the first period, 45-28 at half time, and 65-44 after the third period.
Red Level’s Troy Nolen led the Tigers with 19 points. Raheem Bullock and Nick Dorsey chipped in nine points each.
“We can’t have defensive break downs like that,” Catrett said. “They shot it well tonight.”
Red Level (3-3) will play host to McKenzie next Tues., Dec. 7. Tip off for the B-team is at 4:30 p.m.
