Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp and River Falls Police Departments Thurs., Nov. 18, 2010:

• Donald Larry Porter, 54, for failure to appear and held without bond.

• Mickaela L. Lord, 20, for third-degree domestic violence and held on $500 bond.

• Brittany R. Williams, 19, for four counts of distribution, chemical endangerment of child, first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on $720,000 bond.

• Travis Cental McKenzie, 30, for four counts of distribution, chemical endangerment of child, first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on $720,000 bond.

• Alicia Lynn Harrison, 18, for giving false information to law enforcement and held on $3,000 bond.

• Cynthia Bonita Thompson, 44, for second-degree possession of forged instrument and held on $10,000 bond.

• Joshua Shane Grice, 21, for second-degree attempted possession of marijuana and held on $7,500 bond.

• Jayson Nicholas Kelley, 18, for second-degree attempted possession of marijuana and held on $7,500 bond.

• Steven Earl Reynolds, 18, for second-degree attempted possession of marijuana and held on $7,500 bond.

• Tim Carlton Gautney, 56, for possession of controlled substance and held on $10,000 bond.

• William L. Thrash, Jr. 43, for negotiating worthless instrument, and held on $1,000 bond.

Clarification: In the Fri., Nov. 19, edition, it was reported that Eddie Fields, 30, was arrested for failure to register as a sex felon, according to the jailer’s reports; however, the charge should have read “failure to register as an ex-felon.” The Star-News is happy to clarify matters for our readers.
