UPDATE: The Andalusia Lady Bulldogs will travel to play Jemison in the Class 4A sub-state tournament next Thurs., Oct. 21.

The Andalusia Lady Bulldogs will enter the Class 4A sub-state tournament next Thursday as the No. 4 seed, after falling to Alabama Christian 3-0 in the consolation round Saturday in Andalusia.

St. James sent the Lady Bulldogs to the consolation round with a 3-1 win in the semifinals. In the championship match, UMS-Wright beat the Lady Trojans 3-1 to claim the tournament title.

In earlier action, the Lady Bulldogs knocked Saraland out of the tournament with a 3-1 win.

Andalusia will play the No. 1 seed from the Class 4A Regional B tournament.
