GULF SHORES, Ala. (AP) — Gulf Shores officials say Bon Jovi and Brad Paisley will perform concerts in mid-October to boost tourism on the Alabama coast after the Gulf oil spill.
Bon Jovi will appear on Oct. 15 and Paisley on Oct. 17. Their concerts are in conjunction with the Thunder on the Gulf boat races Oct 14-17.
The concerts are free, but tickets are required. Officials said tickets will be available as part of lodging packages starting Sept. 8. Some free tickets will also be available to area residents on Sept. 11 at the Gulf Shores Civic Center, Orange Beach Recreation Center and Foley City Hall. There is a limit of two tickets and a photo ID is required.
