Facts about Tuesday’s runoff election:
HOURS: Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
CHOICES: Voters must pick either the Democratic runoff or the Republican runoff, but they can’t choose both. The Republican Party allows people who voted in the Democratic primary June 1 to vote in the Republican runoff. The Democratic Party does not allow people who voted in the GOP primary June 1 to vote in the Democratic runoff.
IDENTIFICATION: Voters should bring identification, such as a driver’s license, Social Security card, hunting or fishing license, power bill or bank statement.
MAJOR GOP RACES: Governor, agriculture commissioner, Public Service Commission Place 1, 2nd and 7th Congressional Districts, State Board of Education District 8.
MAJOR DEMOCRATIC RACES: Attorney general and 7th Congressional District.
