I encourage my fellow citizens in Covington County to support Bradley Byrne for governor.  Bradley is the best choice for Covington County, the best choice for the Wiregrass and the best choice for Alabama.

Byrne is the only gubernatorial candidate that has declared he will be “a champion for the Wiregrass.”  Bradley has visited our area many times both as chancellor of Alabama’s two-year college system, and now as a candidate for governor.  He knows our area, our needs, and has shown continued support for business and industry located here in Covington County.  Bradley will be a true jobs governor for our area and the entire state.

Bradley is a man of great ability and integrity.  As chancellor, he cleaned up corruption in state government by putting a halt to taxpayer fraud, enacting ethics reform, cutting millions in wasteful spending and putting our community colleges back in the business of educating our workforce.  And he did all of this in the face of powerful special interests that opposed him at every turn.  Now, those same special interests are doing everything they can to prevent Bradley from being the next Governor.  Why are special interests against Bradley Byrne?  Because they know he is a proven, conservative reformer that will loosen their grip on power. To Bradley’s credit, he is a man of great faith and courage that will take the fight directly to the political bosses in Montgomery and will not back down.

If you support ethics reform, education excellence and expanded economic development in the Wiregrass and across this state, then join me in supporting a candidate that will be a true advocate for Covington County.  On July 13th, let’s fight for what is right.  Join me in voting for the right leader at the right time – Bradley Byrne for governor.
