The City of Andalusia has announced the 2010 South Alabama All-Stars baseball and softball teams.

The All-Stars district baseball tournament will begin Fri., June 25 at 6 p.m. at the Andalusia Sports Complex.

In addition, the girls All-Stars state softball tournament will begin Thurs., July 8 at the Andalusia Sports Complex.

Boys

7-and-8-year-olds

The team manager will be Shannon Briggs and the assistant coaches are Sonny Cravey and Drew Powell.

Members of the team are Noah Gooden, Michael Jordan, Jacob Cravey, Blaine Stinson, Kambron Whitaker, Chase Harper, Colby Copeland, Seth Dooley, Gabe Norris, Caleb Blackston, Brenden Douglas, Tariq Walker and Shane Nixon.

9-and-10-year-olds

The team manager will be Casey Jones and the assistant coaches are Posey Givens and Jeff Wallace.

Members of the team are Grant Holley, J.W. Jones, Jake Barefoot, Parker Miller, B.J. Anderson, Will Clark, Josh Jones, Lonzell Parks, Garrett Davis, Jake Walker, Branston Wallace and Roosevelt Weaver.

11-and-12-year-olds

The team manager will be Ben Brannon and the assistant coach will be David Jones.

Members of the team are Sim Bowden, Jamal Mason, Will Piggott, Daniel Shirey, Madison Ward, Will Adams, Taylor Earnest, Trey Ossenfort, Dedric Walker, Taylor Griffin, Will Jones, Ridge Riley and Dallas Wynkoop.

Girls

5-and-6-year-olds

The head coach will be Mike Majors and the assistant coaches will be Nicole Pettie and Darren Capps.

Members of the team are Katelynn Carter, Kinsey Gunter, Catherine Pettie, Maggie Furr, Amanda Majors, Kaliyah Whitaker, Emma Eckenrod, Madison O’Connor, Erin Riley, Emma Capps, Abigail Lee and Greycen Worley.

7-and-8-year-olds

The head coach will be John Tomberlin and the assistant coaches will be Brad Garner and Anthony Mikel.

Members of the team are Constance Johnson, Daniah Lawson, Chloe Mikel, Tylin Sheridan, Alisha Yarbrough, Kristie Gunter, Lindsey Stephens, Annie Tomberlin, Kasey Owens, Sydney Ray, Maisy Garner and Emory Garner.

9-and-10-year-olds

The head coach will be Steven Salter and the assistant coaches will be Buddy Manring and Cam Smith.

Members of the team are Olivia Amerson, Taylor Catoe, Alyssa Burden, Meg Turner, Tessa Walker, Rachel Dayton, Zaria Jones, Millie Manring, Mary Salter, Julia Smith, Anna Terry and Valerie Tomberlin.

11-and-12-year-olds

The head coach will be Jessica Johns and the assistant coaches will be Rhonda Cleghorn and Heather Murphy.

The head coach will be Randy Kuhn and the assistant coach will be Greg Burnette.
