Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Riley and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Johnson are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Whitney Johnson, to Jesse Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Travis Carr of Andalusia and Mr. Ricky Brown of Elba.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mable Carter and late Mr. Golden Carter and Mrs. Alice Johnson and the late Mr. Ellis Johnson, all of Brundidge. She is currently employed by SouthSide Daycare Center.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Ms. Jewel McKinney and the late Mr. Charles McKinney of Opp and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Carpenter of Jack, Ala. He is currently employed by Pronto Grassing in Troy.

The wedding will take place Sat., June 26, 2010, at 5 p.m., at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Brundidge. All relatives and friends are invited.
