A Covington County jury has found a Red Level man not guilty Thursday of first-degree rape.

Billy Wayne Grace, 31, was accused of raping a female adult off a secluded trail south of Andalusia in February 2007. He was initially charged with rape and sodomy; however the sodomy charge was dropped before the case went to trial.

The not-guilty verdict was rendered after a two-day trial.
