Teens behaved badly on Square

I recently took my 6-year-old son to watch the new Shrek movie at Clark Cinema in Andalusia. The movie was great and my son loved it. I had to take him to the 9 p.m. show on Friday night so we could have Saturday free to do other things without worrying about a deadline.
I must say that the city square is very poorly laid out and that the teenagers are very rude. There is nothing on the circle to stop the flow of traffic and the pedestrian crosswalk means nothing to the punk boys and girls that were driving around. It took some time for us to cross the road to get to the car due to the fact that the teenagers don’t know the meaning of a crosswalk and that they should yield to pedestrians.
There were also very poor representatives of the young women in town that felt it necessary to holler profanities at my son and me. The Cinema side of the square should be treated as a family area and the police should have a deputy there to make sure it remains that way and that parents and their children aren’t subjected to foul language and lack of courtesy by the punks that may be hanging out in the square. They need to install traffic lights around the square or at least at the crosswalks so they can be activated by the pedestrians so they can have a chance to cross the road without being run over.
