The Lurleen B. Wallace Community College Saints baseball team scored six runs in the eighth inning to earn a 9-6 victory over second-ranked Brunswick Sunday at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Southeast Regional tournament in Martinsville, Va.

Brunswick scored one run in the third inning, two runs in the fifth inning and three runs in the seventh inning before the Saints’ six runs in the eighth.

The third-ranked Saints will advance to play top-ranked Lenoir Community College today at 2 p.m. EST.
