Thank you for this opportunity to express appreciation to all those who made the Luncheon Pilot Club’s annual Square Picnic a tremendous success.
We appreciate every one of you who bough a lunch ticket, and we are in hopes that you enjoyed the beautiful spring weather, the great music, visiting with friends and a delicious lunch.
We especially thank the businesses and individuals who made donations. Andalusia Distributing Company has donated snack cakes and/or potato chips every year tha we have had this event. Again this year, Jimmy Jackson donated snacks, and Cost Plus and Pic & Sav were also generous with donations of snacks. Winn-Dixie and Wal-Mart helped with a donation for various other expenses.
Special thanks to Dwight Mikel and the recreation department for the tremendous help in setting up for the picnic. Their willingness and friendly support is very much appreciated.
We could not put on this event without their help and cooperation.
Everyone appreciated the good, old-time country tunes by the Double Nickel band. It was toe-tapping music that we all enjoyed. Many thanks to all the band members for giving of their time and talents.
Last, but not least, many thanks to The Andalusia Star-News and to WAAO for the excellent publicity you gave this event and Luncheon Pilot Club.
