Allyn Powell was among the students competing for the title of Miss Huntingdon at the annual competition held last week in Ligon Chapel. A sophomore English major, Powell is the daughter of Roger and Cathy Powell of Andalusia and a former Covington County Junior Miss. She is a member of Phi Mu women’s fraternity, Huntingdon Hosts, and the Huntingdon Dazzlers Dance Team. For her talent, she danced en pointe.
