Andalusia City Councilman Kennith Mount is encouraging residents of District 2 to join him in a Spring Clean-Up effort this Friday.

Mount said residents of his district interested in participating should meet at the Adult Activity Center behind the Church Street School at 8:30 a.m. this Fri., March 26. The group will determine which areas of the district need the most attention and will split up to clean those areas.

This week is Spring Clean-Up week for the Covington County PALS and the Environmental Committee of the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce. The groups are asking residents to focus on cleaning up litter. Free trash bags are available at the Chamber office.
